HOSTED BY ROOT MAMMA

The act of Kirtan is an expression of devotion, truth, and humble surrender. Root Mamma is pleased to announce that we will be hosting monthly Kirtans, so that we may sing our hearts out in community, rejoice, and find strength in the power of our collective intentions. This call and response chanting practice can be about manifesting your desires, sending up love and gratitude to the cosmos, or simply sharing ancient stories.

This month will be chanting to the Goddess, in her many mysterious forms and majestic identities!

This Kirtan will be led by Root Mammas Sarah, Kristen, Des, and Zack, and we would love to see you there! All levels of experience are welcome. If you've been to many kirtans or none, if you confidently sing every day, are looking for an excuse to use your voice, or would simply like to witness the power of group chanting, we'd love to have you and your energy in attendance!

Root Mamma is a sacred space, and out of respect to that, we ask that no alcohol be brought to the space. We will have kombucha or other delicious non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase, and water available, or feel free to bring your own!

We are asking for a $10-$20 donation to support the space and our energetic efforts, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds!
